The JiVE Cape Town Funny Festival is back at the Baxter!

After 2 years of absence, The JiVE Cape Town Funny Festival is back, and we couldn’t be more excited. With more than a decade of partnership, JiVE is proud to announce the extension of our title sponsorship to 2024! This allows JiVE to bring to life some of its core values, positively impacting our community and creating shared moments that will be remembered.


Boasting top-class local and international performers, the show consistently delivers to a full house from the start of the festival to its very end.

ABSA Wildeklawer Sports tournament sponsorship

Pepsi was the official beverage partner at this years’ ABSA Wildeklawer Sports tournament. The prestigious tournament is designed to give young athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against some of the top-performing schools in the country. The event this year took place in Kimberley 25th April - 2 May, Wildeklawer started the tournament series in 2009, and for 13 years has successfully partnered with leading brands to help subsidise schools to attend the sport tournament. Over the course of seven days Pepsi rewarded athletes and the audience with Pepsi branded merchandise, taste testing and entertainment, with the additional fun Spin and Win Mechanism with each Pepsi purchase. BevCo is the exclusive manufacturing, distribution and marketing services for the PepsiCo brand portfolio.

disaster relief in kzn

BevCo has donated over 11 000 refreshments to various NGOs and Durban’s Search and Rescue teams to assist with the disaster relief programme in KwaZulu Natal.  Beneficiaries received cases of Coo-ee, Pepsi and Refreshhh water.  Ongoing efforts are being delivered to provide support to Durban’s Search & Rescue teams as well as Chats Ford Club, SA Harvest, We Feed SA, Love to Serve and Izethembiso Zohando.

Coo-ee partners with Built Environment Support Group

On the 6 June 2022, the Built Environment Support Group (BESG) held a clean-up campaign in the Dambuza Community in KZN. Coo-ee sponsored refreshments, t-shirts and caps for the volunteers and staff, helping local communities through the partnership with BESG. In addition to the clean-up, the BESG started a much-needed garden with the hope of achieving food security for the community. BESG is a Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation based in Pietermaritzburg, KZN, established in 1999. The Team at BESG share the vision in which all people in South Africa live in participatory democracy with sustainable living environments and livelihood security. Their mission at BESG is to facilitate and support participatory development, housing, basic services, livelihoods security, and environmental justice.

The Umko Adventure

The Umko Adventure is an annual Mountain Bike event which takes cyclists on an adventurous journey through the beautiful Umkomaas Valley in KZN. This took place over two days in August 2021. Coo-ee is the official sponsor of this event ensuring riders are kept hydrated along the route.

Coo-ee is the official hydration sponsor of the Amashova Durban Classic. This event takes place on 24 October 2021.

Culture Shock

The traditional Kaapse Klopse and Malay choirs are embedded in the cultural melting pot of the Cape. Due to restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the JiVE Culture Shock is now delivered in an online format to allow our customers to continue celebrating this favourite Cape Town past time in the comfort of their homes.

The project prides itself on developing youth in the community through mentoring and providing a professional platform to elevate performances as well as the viewing experience.

These objectives align with those of the JiVE brand, bringing families and friends together, to celebrate moments safely, within their world of flavours.
